  • 1 cup granulated sugar Accurate measurement is important to avoid overly sweet cookies.
  • 1 large egg

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter and sugar. Mix until creamy and well blended.
  • Add the egg to the mixture and stir until everything is incorporated, resulting in a sticky dough.
  • Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough and roll them into balls. Place them on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space for spreading.
  • Use a fork to flatten each cookie slightly, creating a crisscross pattern on top.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes until the edges are lightly browned.
  • Remove from the oven and allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
