  • 1 package tri-color cheese tortellini
  • 1 cup pesto (homemade or store-bought) Use high-quality pesto for the best flavor.
  • 2 slices prosciutto, chopped
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, divided Use half a cup for mixing and half for topping.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (180 degrees Celsius).
  • Boil lightly salted water in a large pot. Add the tri-color cheese tortellini and cook for 3 minutes until they float. Drain thoroughly.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked tortellini with chopped prosciutto, pesto, and half a cup of mozzarella cheese. Stir gently to coat.
  • Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread evenly.
  • Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese over the top.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbling.
  • Let it cool slightly before serving.
