Ingredients
  

For the sausages

  • 1 pound Italian sausage (mild or spicy)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (optional) For added flavor
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional: sliced bell peppers and onions For added flavor

Preparation

  • Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper, creating a marinade.
  • Add the Italian sausages to the bowl, ensuring they are coated fully with the marinade.
  • If you want extra flavor, toss in sliced bell peppers and onions to the mixture.

Cooking

  • Place the seasoned sausages in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Do not overcrowd; cook in batches if necessary.
  • Cook the sausages for 12-15 minutes or until they reach an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C), flipping them halfway through the cooking time for even browning.
  • Once done, carefully remove the sausages from the air fryer and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes
