  • 4 medium-sized russet potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil For crisping the skin
  • 1 teaspoon salt To taste
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper To taste

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Wash the potatoes thoroughly under running water to remove any dirt. Scrub them gently with a brush.
  • Pat the potatoes dry with a paper towel.
  • Prick each potato several times with a fork.
  • Rub each potato with olive oil.
  • Sprinkle salt and pepper over the potatoes to season.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (204°C) for about 5 minutes.

Cooking

  • Place the seasoned potatoes in the air fryer basket, leaving some space between them.
  • Cook the potatoes for 35 to 40 minutes, turning them halfway through.
  • Check for doneness by inserting a fork or knife into the largest potato.
  • Remove the potatoes from the air fryer and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes
