  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice Helps preserve banana color and prevent browning.
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil (melted) For added flavor and richness.
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon Optional spice for flavor.

Preparation

  • Peel the bananas and slice them thinly, about 1/8-inch thick.
  • In a bowl, mix the sliced bananas with lemon juice to coat them.
  • Add melted coconut oil and cinnamon to the bowl and toss gently.

Cooking

  • Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (180°C).
  • Arrange the banana slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  • Cook the banana slices for about 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  • Allow banana chips to cool completely after cooking; they will become crispier as they cool.
