  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for heat) Adjust to taste.

Preparation

  • Pat the boneless chicken thighs dry with paper towel to remove excess moisture.
  • In a large bowl, mix together the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, dried thyme, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper if desired.
  • Add the chicken thighs to the bowl and toss them thoroughly in the mixture until evenly coated.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.

Cooking

  • Arrange the seasoned chicken thighs in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring not to crowd them.
  • Cook the chicken for 15 to 18 minutes, flipping halfway through. Ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  • Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.
