Ingredients
  

For the breading

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour Seasoned with salt and pepper.
  • 2 large eggs Whisked until well combined.
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko or traditional)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Cooking spray or olive oil spray

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • Set up a breading station with three shallow bowls: one with seasoned flour, one with whisked eggs, and one with breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and extra salt and pepper.

Breading the Shrimp

  • Toss each shrimp in the flour, coating fully and shaking off excess.
  • Dip the floured shrimp into the egg mixture, letting excess drip off.
  • Coat the shrimp in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently for adherence.

Cooking

  • Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray and arrange the breaded shrimp in a single layer.
  • Lightly spray the tops of the shrimp with cooking spray.
  • Cook the shrimp in the air fryer for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through.

Notes

For best results, dry the shrimp thoroughly before breading. Avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket for even cooking. Customize the breadcrumb seasoning as desired.
