Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts Fresh, trimmed and halved
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil For coating the sprouts
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Optional Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar Optional drizzle before serving
  • Grated Parmesan cheese Optional topping
  • Fresh herbs for garnish Optional

Instructions

Preparation

  • Wash the Brussels sprouts thoroughly and trim the ends. Cut them in half for even cooking.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  • Add the halved Brussels sprouts to the bowl and toss them until fully coated with the seasoning mixture.

Cooking

  • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  • Place the seasoned Brussels sprouts in the air fryer basket in a single layer, avoiding overcrowding.
  • Cook for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking. Check for doneness; the sprouts should be crispy and browned on the outside.
  • If desired, drizzle with balsamic vinegar and sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top before serving.

Notes

For best results, cut the sprouts into even halves. Feel free to adjust the spices and try different seasonings like smoked paprika or chili flakes for added flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days and reheat in the air fryer or oven to maintain crispiness.
