Ingredients
  

Burgers

  • 1 lb ground beef (preferably 80/20) For optimal juiciness
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 slice Cheddar cheese (optional) To melt on the burgers

Buns and Toppings

  • 4 pieces burger buns (your choice of type)
  • to taste favorite toppings (such as lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, ketchup, mustard, etc.) Customize as desired

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently without overworking the meat.
  • Shape the beef mixture into patties about ¾ inch thick.
  • Lightly grease the air fryer basket or use parchment paper.
  • Place the patties in the basket, ensuring they don't touch each other.

Cooking

  • Cook the burgers for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they reach an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C).
  • If using cheese, place a slice on each patty during the final minute of cooking.
  • Toast the burger buns in the air fryer for 1-2 minutes.

Serving

  • Assemble the burgers by placing a patty on the bottom bun and adding desired toppings before closing with the top bun.

Notes

Store leftover burgers in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the fridge, or freeze for 2-3 months. Reheat in the air fryer for best results. Customize burgers with different meats or toppings to suit your taste.
