Ingredients
  

For the Cake

  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cups granulated sugar
  • 0.5 cups unsalted butter, softened
  • 0.75 cups milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt

Preparation

  • Prepare your baking pan that fits inside the air fryer by greasing it lightly with butter or non-stick spray.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened butter and sugar. Cream them together until light and fluffy.
  • Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with the milk. Mix until just combined; do not overmix.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.

Cooking

  • Preheat your air fryer to 320°F (160°C) for about 5 minutes.
  • Place the cake pan inside the air fryer basket and cook for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Once done, carefully remove the cake and let it cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
