  • 4 large carrots Peeled and cut into fry-like shapes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

  • fresh herbs (like parsley or cilantro) For garnish

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Peel the carrots and cut them into fry-like shapes, about 1/4 inch wide for uniform cooking.
  • In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  • Add the cut carrot fries to the bowl and toss them thoroughly in the oil mixture.

Cooking

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 3 to 5 minutes.
  • Place the coated carrot fries in the air fryer basket in a single layer, avoiding overcrowding.
  • Cook the carrot fries for about 15 to 20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  • Once browned and crisp, remove from the air fryer and place on paper towels to absorb excess oil.

Serving

  • Serve immediately while hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.

Notes

To achieve the best results, cut fries into uniform sizes and preheat the air fryer to ensure a crispy texture. Leftover fries can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2-3 days.
