  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder Can substitute with fresh garlic if desired.
  • 1 large egg, beaten Egg helps the coating adhere.
  • Cooking spray To help achieve a crispy exterior.

Preparation

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine breadcrumbs, flour, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  • Dip chicken pieces into the beaten egg, ensuring each piece is well coated.
  • Roll the coated chicken in the breadcrumb mixture until completely covered.
  • Arrange chicken bites in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding.
  • Lightly spray the bites with cooking spray before cooking.

Cooking

  • Cook the chicken bites for 8 to 10 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • Check internal temperature; it should reach 165°F (74°C) for safe consumption.

Serving

  • Let the chicken bites cool slightly before serving.
  • Serve hot with dipping sauces like honey mustard, BBQ, or ranch.
