Ingredients
  

Spice Blend

  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon dried thyme (or oregano, or other herbs of your choice) You can use other herbs to your preference.
  • teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Chicken

  • 2 pieces 7-ounce boneless, skinless chicken breasts

Oil

  • 2 teaspoons extra-virgin olive oil (or avocado oil)

Preparation

  • In a small bowl, mix together the kosher salt, paprika, garlic powder, dried thyme, and black pepper.
  • Lightly pound the chicken breasts using a meat mallet or rolling pin to ensure even thickness.
  • Drizzle the olive oil over the chicken breasts, ensuring they are well coated.
  • Generously sprinkle the spice mixture on both sides of the chicken and rub it in.

Cooking

  • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  • Place the chicken in the basket, smooth side down, and cook for 7 minutes.
  • Flip the chicken breasts over and cook for an additional 3 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  • Let the chicken rest for a couple of minutes before serving.

Notes

Choose quality chicken for best results. Use a meat thermometer for accuracy when cooking. Leftovers can be refrigerated for 3-4 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
