  • 4-6 pieces chicken legs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  • Pat the chicken legs dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
  • In a large bowl, mix the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, dried oregano, salt, and pepper.
  • Add the chicken legs to the bowl and toss them well in the seasoning mix until evenly coated.

Cooking

  • Place the seasoned chicken legs in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they do not touch.
  • Cook the chicken legs at 400°F (200°C) for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • Check the internal temperature reaches at least 165°F (75°C); if not, continue cooking in 5-minute increments.

Serving

  • Remove the chicken legs and let them rest for about 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For even better flavor, marinate chicken legs several hours or overnight. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days or freeze for longer storage. Reheat in the air fryer for best texture.
