Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken breast, cut into strips
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko for extra crunch)

Seasoning Mix

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

For Cooking

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  • Set up a breading station: Place flour in one shallow dish, beaten eggs in another dish, and mix breadcrumbs with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper in a third dish.

Breading

  • Take each chicken strip, dredge it in the flour, ensuring it’s fully coated. Shake off any excess flour.
  • Dip the chicken strip into the beaten eggs, allowing any extra to drip off.
  • Roll the chicken strip in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere the crumbs.

Cooking

  • Place all coated chicken strips in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  • Lightly mist them with cooking spray to help with browning.
  • Cook the chicken strips for about 10-12 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until they are golden brown and fully cooked.
  • Check doneness with a meat thermometer; the internal temperature should reach 165°F (74°C).
  • Once done, remove them from the fryer and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For optimal results, use panko breadcrumbs for a crispy finish. Avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket to ensure even cooking. Let the strips rest after cooking to allow juices to redistribute.
