  • 4 pieces bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • optional Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper. Stir until well mixed.
  • Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels.
  • Rub the spice mixture all over the chicken thighs, covering both the skin and the meat beneath.

Cooking

  • Place the seasoned chicken thighs in a single layer in the air fryer basket, skin-side up.
  • Cook the chicken thighs for 25-30 minutes, flipping them halfway through. Ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  • Once cooked, remove the chicken from the air fryer and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For crispy skin, always pat the chicken dry before seasoning. You can also increase cooking time for extra crispiness. Letting the chicken rest after cooking is critical for juiciness.
