  • 2 pounds chicken wings (split into flats and drumettes, tips removed if desired)
  • 1 tablespoon aluminum-free baking powder Essential for crispiness
  • 1 teaspoon kosher or sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika (or regular paprika)
  • Olive oil or avocado oil spray (for coating the basket) Prevent sticking

Optional for Serving

  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
  • 1/2 cup honey garlic sauce
  • blue cheese or ranch dressing For dipping
  • celery & carrot sticks For serving

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels to ensure crispiness.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine wings with baking powder, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika. Mix until wings are evenly coated.

Cooking

  • Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 2-3 minutes.
  • Lightly spray the air fryer basket with olive oil or avocado oil.
  • Place seasoned wings in a single layer in the basket, being careful not to overcrowd.
  • Cook at 400°F (200°C) for 10 minutes, flipping the wings halfway through.
  • Continue cooking for another 8-10 minutes until wings are golden brown and crispy, ensuring they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).

Serving

  • Toss cooked wings in your favorite sauce or serve plain with dipping options on the side.
  • Arrange wings with celery and carrot sticks on a platter.
