Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Wet Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened Make sure to use softened butter for best results.
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg

Mix-Ins

  • 1 cup chocolate chips Can be adjusted based on preference.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a medium bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. Stir with a whisk or fork until well blended.
  • In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth and fluffy.
  • Beat in the vanilla extract and the egg until just combined.
  • Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring gently until just combined.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.

Cooking

  • Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  • Scoop out portions of dough and shape them into balls. Place them on parchment paper for easy clean-up.
  • Cook in the air fryer for 8-10 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
  • Allow cookies to cool in the air fryer for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

For additional flavor, consider adding nuts, or spices. Can be stored in an airtight container for up to one week at room temperature or two weeks in the refrigerator. For longer storage, freeze them with parchment paper between layers.
