  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar Can substitute with honey or maple syrup for a healthier option.
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg Optional
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice Helps prevent apples from browning.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Peel each apple, remove the core, and dice them into even cubes.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, brown sugar, ground cinnamon, nutmeg (if using), salt, and lemon juice. Stir until well blended.
  • Add the diced apples to the bowl and gently toss until evenly coated.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).

Cooking

  • Spread the coated apple cubes evenly in the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding.
