Ingredients
  

For the garlic spread

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional) For a bit of heat

For the bread

  • 1 loaf French bread (or Italian bread) Sliced in half lengthwise
  • Grated to taste Parmesan cheese (optional) Sprinkled on top before serving

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Start by slicing the loaf of bread in half lengthwise.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if desired). Mix well into a smooth garlic spread.
  • Spread the garlic mixture evenly over the cut sides of the bread.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for about 3 minutes.
  • Place the garlic bread halves in the air fryer basket, cut side up.

Cooking

  • Cook the bread in the air fryer for about 5-7 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy. Check halfway through to prevent burning.
  • If desired, sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the garlic bread during the last minute of cooking.
  • Once done, carefully remove the bread from the air fryer and let it cool slightly before slicing and serving.
