Air Fryer Garlic Flatbread

A quick and delicious way to enjoy homemade garlic flatbread, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, cooked to perfection in the air fryer.

Ingredients
  

Flatbread Dough

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3/4 cup warm water
  • 3 to 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • Fresh parsley or herbs for garnish (optional) Optional for garnish

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt together.
  • Create a well in the center of the dry ingredients and add the olive oil and warm water.
  • Stir the mixture until a dough forms, then knead it on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
  • Divide the dough into equal portions based on how large you want your flatbreads.
  • Roll each portion into a thin circle or oval shape.

Cooking

  • Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  • Brush the surface of each flatbread with melted butter and sprinkle minced garlic evenly over the top.
  • Place one or two flatbreads in the air fryer basket, making sure not to overcrowd.
  • Cook for about 5 to 6 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the flatbreads are cooked through.
  • Remove from the air fryer and repeat with remaining flatbreads.
  • Garnish with fresh herbs if desired and serve warm.

Notes

Store flatbread in an airtight container for 2 to 3 days at room temperature or freeze for longer storage. Always preheat the air fryer for best results.
