Ingredients

Dry Ingredients

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup nuts (e.g., almond, walnuts, or pecans) Choose your favorite nuts.
  • 1/2 cup seeds (e.g., pumpkin or sunflower seeds)
  • 1/2 cup dried fruit (optional, such as cranberries, raisins, or apricots) Add after cooling.

Wet Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup Adjust to taste for sweetness.
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • pinch salt

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, combine the rolled oats, nuts, and seeds. Set aside.
  • In a small saucepan, mix the honey (or maple syrup), melted coconut oil, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt. Heat gently over low heat until just combined.
  • Pour the liquid mixture over the dry ingredients and stir well, making sure everything is evenly coated.

Cooking

  • Preheat your air fryer to 300°F (150°C).
  • Spread the granola mixture evenly in the air fryer basket, avoiding overcrowding.
  • Cook for 10 minutes, shaking the basket every 3-4 minutes for even toasting.
  • After 10 minutes, check the granola. If not golden and crunchy, continue to air fry in 2-minute increments until it reaches your desired level of doneness.
  • Remove from the air fryer and let it cool completely. Once cool, stir in the dried fruit if using.
