  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Adjust according to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper Freshly cracked is best.

  • 1/4 cup Grated Parmesan cheese Add for richness.
  • Red pepper flakes For heat.
  • Lemon zest For brightness.

Preparation

  • Wash the fresh green beans thoroughly under cold water. Trim the ends and pat them dry.
  • In a large bowl, combine the green beans with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Toss until evenly coated.

Cooking

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  • Add the seasoned green beans to the air fryer basket in a single layer, avoiding overcrowding.
  • Cook for about 8 to 10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through. Monitor closely to avoid overcooking.
  • Once the green beans are crisp-tender and have a charred appearance, remove them from the air fryer.
  • Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese if desired and serve immediately.
