  • 1 pound ground beef or turkey Choice of meat
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley Fresh herbs enhance flavor
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Optional Serving Ingredients

  • 1 cup marinara sauce For serving, optional

Preparation

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef or turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, egg, minced garlic, onion powder, and a sprinkle of salt and pepper.
  • Mix gently until ingredients are well combined.
  • Shape the mixture into 1-inch meatballs.

Cooking

  • Place the meatballs in the air fryer basket in a single layer, avoiding crowding.
  • Cook the meatballs for 10-12 minutes, checking that they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  • Let the meatballs rest for a few minutes after cooking.

Serving

  • Serve the meatballs warm with marinara sauce over spaghetti, as appetizers, or in meatball subs.
