Preparation

  • Prepare three shallow bowls for breading: one for flour, one for beaten egg, and one for breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and salt.
  • Coat each mozzarella stick in flour, shaking off excess.
  • Dip the floured stick in the beaten egg, ensuring it's evenly coated.
  • Roll the stick in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
  • Repeat this process with all mozzarella sticks.

Cooking

  • Preheat the air fryer to 390°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  • Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray and lay the coated mozzarella sticks in a single layer, ensuring they do not touch.
  • Cook for 6-8 minutes, or until golden brown and cheese is melted.
  • Carefully remove the sticks and let them cool slightly before serving.

Notes
