Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh mushrooms (button, cremini, or your choice) Choose firm and plump mushrooms.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme Use fresh thyme if available.
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preparation

  • Start by cleaning the mushrooms. Use a damp paper towel to wipe away any dirt. Trim the stems if necessary. Cut larger mushrooms in half or quarters for even cooking.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, dried thyme, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well to create a flavorful marinade.
  • Add the cleaned mushrooms to the bowl and toss them in the marinade, ensuring they are evenly coated.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.

Cooking

  • Once preheated, place the marinated mushrooms in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Avoid overcrowding to ensure proper circulation.
  • Cook the mushrooms for about 10 to 12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through. They should be golden brown and tender when done.

Serving

  • Carefully remove the mushrooms from the air fryer, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve while hot.
