  • 1 pound red potatoes Washed and cut into chunks
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil For coating potatoes
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme

Preparation

  • Wash the red potatoes thoroughly, removing any dirt, and pat them dry with a clean towel.
  • Cut the potatoes into even-sized chunks, about 1 to 2 inches each.
  • In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, dried thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  • Add the potato chunks to the bowl and toss until they are well-coated with the oil and seasoning mixture.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.

Cooking

  • Once preheated, place the seasoned potatoes in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  • Cook the potatoes for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking.
  • They should be golden brown and crisp when done.

Serving

  • Carefully remove the potatoes from the air fryer and transfer them to a serving dish.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

For extra crunch, soak the cut potatoes in cold water for about 30 minutes before seasoning. You can also experiment with spices to suit your taste.
