Ingredients
  

Steak Preparation

  • 2 pieces ribeye steaks, about 1 inch thick

Seasoning

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Fresh herbs (like thyme or rosemary) for garnish, optional

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Take the ribeye steaks out of the refrigerator and allow them to reach room temperature, about 30 minutes.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  • Pat the ribeye steaks dry with paper towels.
  • Brush both sides of the steaks with olive oil.
  • Season generously with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.

Cooking

  • Place the seasoned steaks in the air fryer basket without overcrowding.
  • Cook the steaks for about 10 to 12 minutes, flipping them halfway through for medium-rare.
  • Use a meat thermometer to check the temperature; 130°F (54°C) for medium-rare, 140°F (60°C) for medium.
  • Once cooked to your preference, let them rest for about 5 minutes.
  • Optionally, garnish the steaks with fresh herbs before serving.
