Ingredients
  

For the salmon

  • 2 pieces salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional) for added spice
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • to taste garnish fresh parsley for garnish
  • as needed pieces lemon wedges for serving

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel.
  • Combine olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, onion powder, and cayenne pepper in a small bowl.
  • Rub the spice mixture generously over both sides of the salmon fillets.
  • Drizzle the fillets with lemon juice.

Cooking

  • Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 3 minutes.
  • Place the salmon fillets in the air fryer basket, skin-side down.
  • Set the timer for 8 to 10 minutes, checking for doneness.
  • Once cooked, remove the salmon from the air fryer and let it rest.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

Store leftover salmon in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. You can freeze it for up to 3 months. Thaw in the refrigerator before reheating.
