  • 1 pound fresh salmon fillet, skin removed Use fresh for best flavor.
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs, toasted Can use plain or seasoned.
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley Adds freshness.
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped green onions For extra flavor.
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise Provides moisture.
  • 1 large egg Acts as a binder.
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard Adds tanginess.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder Enhances flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon paprika For color and flavor.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Adjust according to preference.
  • as needed Olive oil spray For air frying.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Place the fresh salmon fillet in a large mixing bowl and flake it into small pieces using a fork.
  • Add the toasted breadcrumbs, chopped parsley, green onions, mayonnaise, egg, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper to the bowl. Mix everything together until well combined.
  • Form the mixture into patties of your desired size, approximately 2-3 inches in diameter.

Cooking

  • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and lightly spray the air fryer basket with olive oil.
  • Place the salmon patties in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring there's space in between.
  • Cook the patties for about 10-12 minutes, flipping them halfway through cooking for even crispiness.
  • Once they are golden brown and cooked through, carefully remove the patties and serve immediately.

Notes

Serve with lemon, salad, or as sliders. Store cooled patties in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days. Freeze for longer storage.
