Ingredients
  

For the Salmon

  • 1 lb salmon fillet Opt for fresh, wild-caught salmon for best flavor.
  • 1 tsp olive oil Used for seasoning the salmon.
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika Adds flavor to the salmon.
  • 1 tsp garlic powder For seasoning the salmon.
  • to taste Salt and pepper For seasoning.

For the Slaw

  • 2 cups shredded cabbage Provides crunch and texture.
  • 1 cup shredded carrots Added for color and sweetness.
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro For freshness.

For the Dressing

  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise Creamy base for the dressing.
  • 1 tbsp lime juice For tanginess.
  • 1 tsp honey Balances the flavors.
  • to taste Hot sauce Optional for spice.

For Serving

  • 8 small tortillas (corn or flour) For wrapping the tacos.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • Prepare the salmon by patting it dry with paper towels, then place it in a bowl.
  • Drizzle olive oil over the salmon and sprinkle with smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Rub the seasoning over the fish to coat.

Cooking

  • Place the seasoned salmon in the air fryer basket and cook for 8-10 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  • While the salmon cooks, prepare the slaw. In a large bowl, combine shredded cabbage, shredded carrots, and chopped cilantro.
  • In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, lime juice, honey, and a pinch of salt until smooth. Pour the dressing over the slaw and toss to combine.
  • Once the salmon is done, remove it from the air fryer and break it into bite-sized pieces.
  • Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet over medium heat for about 30 seconds on each side or until pliable.

Assembly

  • Assemble your tacos by placing a portion of the salmon on each tortilla, topping it with the slaw, and adding hot sauce if desired.

Notes

You can customize the toppings of the tacos with avocado slices, diced tomatoes, or pickled red onions. Pair with a side of rice or black beans.
