Ingredients
  

For the shrimp

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined Select large shrimp for better texture.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley Optional, for garnish.
  • as needed Lemon wedges Optional, for serving.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  • In a bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to form a marinade.
  • Add the shrimp to the bowl, tossing them until they are evenly coated with the seasoning mixture. Allow the shrimp to marinate for about 10 minutes.

Cooking

  • Place the shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket without overcrowding.
  • Cook the shrimp for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to promote even cooking.
  • The shrimp should be pink and opaque when done.

Serving

  • Remove the shrimp from the air fryer and sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley if desired.
  • Serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side.

Notes

For best results, do not overcrowd the air fryer basket. You can cook in batches if needed. Experiment with different seasoning blends for variations.
