Air Fryer Shrimp Tacos

Ingredients
  

For the Shrimp

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined Best if fresh
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

For Assembly

  • 8 small corn or flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1 whole avocado, sliced
  • ½ cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • enough Lime wedges, for serving Enhances flavor

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a bowl, toss the shrimp with the olive oil, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.

Cooking

  • Place the seasoned shrimp in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the shrimp are pink and cooked through.
  • While the shrimp cooks, warm your tortillas in a skillet over medium heat for about 30 seconds on each side until soft and pliable.
  • Once the shrimp are done, remove them from the air fryer and let them rest for a minute.

Assembly

  • Assemble your tacos by placing a few shrimp on each tortilla and topping them with shredded cabbage, avocado slices, and cilantro.
  • Serve with lime wedges on the side for added zest.
