Ingredients
  

Potatoes and Seasoning

  • 4 medium medium potatoes (Russet or Yukon Gold) Russet or Yukon Gold varieties yield the best texture.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil Can adjust amount to preference.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • to taste Fresh herbs (like rosemary or thyme) Optional garnish.

Preparation

  • Wash and peel the potatoes, leaving skin on for a rustic texture if desired.
  • Slice the potatoes thinly, about 1/4 inch thick, preferably using a mandoline for uniform slices.
  • In a large bowl, combine the sliced potatoes with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Toss until all slices are evenly coated.

Cooking

  • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  • Once hot, arrange the potato slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket, avoiding overlap.
  • Cook for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even cooking.
  • Remove once golden brown and crispy; let cool slightly before garnishing with fresh herbs and serving warm.
