Ingredients
  

Marinade Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon honey

Main Ingredients

  • 2 pieces tuna steaks (about 6 ounces each)
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • Fresh herbs (like cilantro or parsley) for garnish
  • Lime wedges for serving

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, lime juice, and honey until well combined.
  • Place the tuna steaks in a shallow dish or resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over them, ensuring they are well coated. Cover or seal and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

Cooking

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • Remove the tuna steaks from the marinade and season with salt and pepper on both sides.
  • Place the seasoned tuna steaks in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not overcrowded. Cook for 6-8 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • Remove the tuna steaks from the air fryer and let them rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
  • Garnish with fresh herbs and serve with lime wedges.
