Coating Mixture

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese Can substitute with mozzarella for a different flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika Add chili powder or cayenne for extra spice.
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 egg (beaten)

Preparation

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • Wash the zucchini thoroughly, slice it into fry shapes for even cooking.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.

Coating

  • Dip each zucchini stick into the beaten egg, then roll in the breadcrumb mixture, ensuring they are evenly coated.

Cooking

  • Arrange the coated zucchini fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  • Cook for 10 to 12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even cooking.
  • Check for a golden brown color and crispy texture. If needed, add an extra 1-2 minutes of cooking time.

Serving

  • Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce like ranch, marinara, or spicy aioli.
