Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup diced vegetables (such as carrots, celery, and onions) Feel free to experiment with other veggies.
  • 4 cups beef broth Use high-quality broth for better flavor.
  • 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes Juice included.
  • 2 cups alphabet pasta Keep an eye on it to avoid overcooking.
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • to taste salt and pepper Customize according to preference.

Instructions
 

Cooking the Beef

  • Place a large pot over medium heat and add the ground beef. Cook until browned, about 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally and draining excess fat.

Adding Vegetables

  • Add the diced vegetables to the pot and sauté for about 5 minutes until softened.

Building the Soup Base

  • Pour in the beef broth and diced tomatoes, then sprinkle in the Italian seasoning along with salt and pepper. Stir and bring to a boil.

Simmering the Soup

  • Reduce the heat to a simmer and let it cook for 10 to 15 minutes to meld flavors.

Cooking the Pasta

  • Stir in the alphabet pasta and cook for an additional 8 to 10 minutes or until tender.

Serving

  • Remove from heat and serve in bowls. Optionally, top with fresh parsley or cheese.
