  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons ginger, minced
  • 2 tablespoons garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional for garnish) Optional for serving

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  • In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, green onions, ginger, garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, beaten egg, black pepper, and salt. Mix until everything is well combined.
  • Scoop about two tablespoons of the mixture and roll it into a meatball, placing it on the prepared baking sheet. Repeat this until you use all the mixture.

Cooking

  • Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until they are golden brown and cooked through.

Garnishing

  • Optional: Toast sesame seeds in a pan over medium heat until golden for garnish.

Serving

  • Remove the meatballs from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes
