Ingredients
  

  • 4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon light brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons low-fat milk (or milk substitute)
  • 1/2 tablespoon vegetable oil (or canola oil)
  • 1/8 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons mashed banana (about half a banana)
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • In a microwave-safe mug, combine flour and baking powder.
  • Add light brown sugar and ground cinnamon, mixing well.
  • Pour in milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract, then add the mashed banana.
  • Stir until you achieve a smooth batter without lumps.
  • Microwave on high for about 1 minute and 10 seconds, watching closely.
  • Let cool for a couple of minutes before enjoying either in the mug or on a plate.
