Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 4 lbs brisket Choose an untrimmed cut for better flavor.
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 tbsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 cup beef broth Pour around the brisket to keep it moist.
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce Homemade or store-bought.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
  • In a small bowl, combine salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix well to create a spice rub.
  • Generously apply the spice rub all over the brisket.
  • Place the seasoned brisket into a roasting pan and pour beef broth around it.

Cooking

  • Cover the roasting pan tightly with aluminum foil.
  • Cook in the preheated oven for about 4 hours.
  • After 4 hours, remove the foil and brush BBQ sauce all over the brisket.
  • Return the brisket to the oven without the foil and cook for an additional 30 minutes.

Serving

  • Once done, let the brisket rest for 15 minutes before slicing.
  • Serve sliced brisket on a platter with extra BBQ sauce on the side.

Notes
