Ingredients
  

  • 450 grams minced beef
  • 1 cup orzo pasta
  • 1 medium onion peeled and chopped
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic peeled and chopped
  • 1 tin chopped tomatoes 400 grams or 13 ounces
  • 2 cups beef broth or stock
  • 1 medium red pepper peeled and chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped
  • 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste

Instructions
 

  • Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add chopped onion and cook until golden and soft.
  • Add minced beef, breaking it into pieces, and cook until browned.
  • Add chopped garlic and red pepper, stirring to combine.
  • Add orzo pasta and chopped tomatoes, stirring to distribute evenly.
  • Pour in beef broth, cover, and cook until orzo absorbs liquid, about 15-20 minutes.
  • Add oregano, tomato paste, salt, and black pepper, stirring well.
  • Stir in parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
  • Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve warm.
