Beef Tacos

These delicious beef tacos are easy to prepare and packed with flavor, making them perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 lb ground beef
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 4 teaspoons chili powder
  • 2 teaspoons cumin
  • 2 teaspoons dried cilantro
  • 1 ½ cups beef broth
  • 12 pieces white corn tortillas
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • Taco toppings (sour cream, Pico de Gallo, taco sauce, shredded lettuce)

Instructions
 

  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef and chopped onion, stirring occasionally, until the beef is browned and the onions are translucent (7-10 minutes). Drain excess grease.
  • Add minced garlic, salt, pepper, cayenne pepper, chili powder, cumin, and dried cilantro to the skillet. Stir well to coat the meat with spices.
  • Pour in the beef broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for about 20 minutes.
  • In another skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Place corn tortillas in the skillet, spooning some of the beef mixture onto each, and sprinkle with cheese.
  • Fold tortillas to form half-moons and cook until golden brown and crispy (about 3-4 minutes per side).
  • Drain on paper towels and serve warm with desired toppings.
