beef tenderloin or sirloin
trimmed

Instructions
Pat the beef dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper.
Heat oil in a skillet over high heat. Sear the beef for about 30-45 seconds on each side until browned.
Remove the beef and let it cool slightly before slicing it thinly against the grain.
In a shallow bowl, combine soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, ginger, and garlic. Mix well.
Marinate the sliced beef in the mixture for about 15 minutes.
Serve the beef slices arranged on a plate, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds, drizzled with extra marinade if desired.
