Ingredients
  

For the steak

  • 2 pieces sirloin steaks (about 1 inch thick) Choose high-quality sirloin steaks for best results.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil Used for seasoning.
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • to taste Fresh herbs (optional, for garnish) Such as parsley or thyme.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Remove the sirloin steaks from the refrigerator and let them sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).

Seasoning

  • In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  • Rub the seasoning mixture generously over both sides of each steak.

Cooking

  • Place the seasoned steaks in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not overcrowded.
  • Cook the steaks in the air fryer for about 10-12 minutes for medium-rare, flipping them halfway through. Adjust the time based on your preferred level of doneness.
  • For medium, cook for 8-10 minutes; for medium-well, cook for 12-14 minutes.
  • Once cooked to your liking, carefully remove the steaks from the air fryer and let them rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
