Cookie Dough Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups Bisquick mix
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened Make sure it is at room temperature.
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 large egg Use at room temperature.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until the mixture becomes light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Add the egg and vanilla extract to the bowl, mixing well until fully incorporated.
  • In a separate bowl, combine the Bisquick mix, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips gently until they are evenly distributed throughout the dough.
  • Using a tablespoon, drop rounded balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the edges turn golden brown, and the centers appear slightly soft.
  • Remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes
