Ingredients
  

  • 1 Tbsp chili powder
  • 1 Tbsp paprika
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 1/2 lbs uncooked peeled shrimp
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil for cooking
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 Tbsp cilantro fresh, chopped (optional garnish)
  • 1 lime wedges (optional garnish)

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, combine chili powder, paprika, cumin, oregano, garlic powder, brown sugar, salt, and black pepper.
  • Place the shrimp in a large bowl and pour the spice mixture over them. Mix well to ensure the shrimp are evenly coated. Let marinate for 30 minutes.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated shrimp in a single layer.
  • Cook for about 2 minutes, then flip the shrimp and cook for another 2 minutes until pink and opaque.
  • Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for an additional 30 seconds.
  • Garnish with fresh cilantro and lime wedges before serving.
