Ingredients
  

Fruit Filling

  • 2 cups fresh blueberries
  • 2 cups fresh peaches, peeled and sliced Use ripe peaches for best flavor.
  • 1 cup granulated sugar Adjust based on fruit sweetness.
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice Enhances the flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon For added warmth.

Crumble Topping

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour For gluten-free, use gluten-free flour.
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted Should be melted but not hot.
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • In a large bowl, combine the blueberries, sliced peaches, granulated sugar, lemon juice, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon. Gently toss until the fruit is evenly coated.
  • Pour the fruit mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it out into an even layer.

Crumble Topping

  • In another bowl, mix the rolled oats, all-purpose flour, melted butter, brown sugar, and salt until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  • Sprinkle the crumble topping evenly over the fruit.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until the topping turns golden brown and the fruit is bubbling.
  • Remove from the oven and let it cool for about 10 minutes before serving.
