  • 1 pound chicken tenders Choose high-quality chicken for better flavor.
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs You can use plain or seasoned breadcrumbs.
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 large eggs Beaten.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • as needed Olive oil spray For added crunch.

Preparation

  • Preheat the Air Fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • Combine the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl.
  • Beat the eggs in a separate bowl until well combined.
  • Set up a bowl with breadcrumbs.

Coating the Chicken

  • Coat each chicken tender with the flour mixture, shaking off excess.
  • Dip the tender into the beaten eggs, allowing extra to drip off.
  • Coat fully with breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.

Cooking

  • Place the breaded chicken tenders in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  • Lightly spray with olive oil for extra crunch.
  • Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

Serving

  • Serve hot with favorite dipping sauces like honey mustard, ranch, or BBQ.
