  • 4 pieces hoagie rolls
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  • Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Sauté the sliced onions for about 4 to 5 minutes until they become soft and translucent.
  • Add the sliced chicken into the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook for around 6 to 8 minutes, stirring occasionally until fully cooked.
  • Pour in the buffalo sauce, stir well to coat the chicken, and let it simmer for another 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Fill each hoagie roll with a generous amount of the buffalo chicken mixture.
  • Top with shredded cheese and broil in the oven until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Let the sandwiches cool slightly before serving.
