  • 2 cups shredded cooked chicken Freshly cooked or rotisserie chicken
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened Should be at room temperature
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Divided into two portions
  • ½ cup blue cheese dressing
  • ½ cup hot sauce Adjust to spice preference
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • to taste Chopped green onions for garnish Optional

For serving

  • 1 bag Tortilla chips or fresh veggies For dipping

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and hot sauce. Mix until smooth and well combined.
  • Add the shredded chicken, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt to the bowl. Stir until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
  • Fold in half of the shredded cheddar cheese and the blue cheese dressing to the mixture.
  • Transfer the dip mixture to a baking dish and spread it evenly.

Baking

  • Top with the remaining shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Place the dish in the oven and bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until bubbly and golden on top.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped green onions if desired.

Notes
